// How it works

Take something, improve it, put it back.

1

Find something close

Filter by document type or by the adjustment you need. Everything is free to open.

2

Fork it

Take a copy into your own workspace. The original stays untouched and the author keeps the credit.

3

Make it yours

Adjust the wording to your position and the formatting to your reading preferences.

4

Put it back

If your version is better, publish it. Improvements link back to what they came from.

// Share yours

You have already done the hard part.

If you have reformatted a template so you can actually read it, someone else is about to do the same work from scratch. Publishing takes about five minutes.

Before you publish

  • Strip every client name, party name, figure and matter reference.
  • Say what you changed and why — that context is the most useful part.
  • Note who it was tested with, if anyone.
  • Confirm you are entitled to share it. Firm precedents usually need a nod from your knowledge team.
